Pregnancy question

Hey ladies.  I'm 47 and been on the depo for many years.  I haven't had a shot or a period in almost 2 years.  I spotted about 3 months ago,  normal spotting color for a few days then a few days of a dark discharge. Today I have a bad taste in my mouth,  upset stomach at most times,  sleepy,  emotional and extremely horny all the time.  I just want advice from you girls before I go to the doctor.  I would love to have another baby but I'm 47, my husband is 45, every time I tell him about the sick stomach or how tired I am,  or even about the bad taste in my mouth he laughs so hard and says '' I don't know what is wrong with you '' then he laughs even harder and walks around the house all day with a huge smile on his face.. And... Is it possible for the man to have the symptoms... He said yes they can because lately he wants to sleep a lot too

Hello.  Well, you are a little young for menopause.  But not having a period for an extensive time as you describe is the definition of it.  At 47, it is very doubtful that you conceive a child naturally.  Our egg quality at that point as well as diminished eggs in general are such that pregnancy naturally by that point would be considered a miracle.  Take a pregnancy test but would look for another source of these symptoms.  I don't want to be a doggie downer or dream smasher but it would be very unlikely you are pregnant hon.  good luck
