vaginal swelling

Hi everyone..
I am 50 yrs old in the midst of perimenopause. My periods are non exsistent since about six months ago. My problem right now is a swelling on right side of vaginal opening. My husband said it looked like a pimple. I also have white thin mucousy discharge. I went to dr 3 days ago. He took a biopsy and he wasnt too concerned about it. I was so nervous about the lump that I forgot to tell him about the discharge. He said it could be a skin tag or skin related. And he said not to worry that he was not overly concerned cause he knows i have health anxiety. Anyway i felt it tonight and it still feels swollen. A few weeks ago is when i first noticed it, i felt something down there and pulled out a wad of mucus..sorry to be graphic. But since than this white discharge has been coming out,,not as much but everytime i wipe. I have been really s cared since the biopsy. Should also mention thag i had a hemmoroid flar up about a month ago. But tha the cleared up, i used prep h and witch hazel wipes and suppository. Wonder if they were related. I hate waiting for test results and just wondered if anyone on here ever had anything similar? Please help..
