How miserable! I suffer from digestive issues also. It dies not sound like your doctors are doing much to help. You have a motility/GI specialist near you? I finally referred myself to a motility specialist at Stanford who did other testing that cannot be done here and we are trying meds. Do you have a University or large Medical facility within travel distance you can go to. There are drugs you can try that do and don't help some people. I was started on Amitiza but not good results fir me. Was switched to Linzess which works better but you might have to play around with the dose, etc. do you try using Miralax daily? Ducolax suppositories? I hope you can fine a soecialist to evaluate your situation.
Hi sweetheart.
I'm not entirely sure about bm, but I DO have a lot of experience in equine colic. What I've found to help loads(no pun intended) was mineral oil. It has an aweful taste, terrible feel, and is just absolutely unpleasant. But it has saved many of mine and my family's horses. It assists bowl movement like a miracle. Snuck it into my roommates chocolate milk and he had squirts for a week, so it really works. And its cheap! You can buy it in any pharmacy, Walmart, heb. May want to try it in very small doses at first and see if that helps.
