Ingrown hair - infected? Treatment

Hi, so I did have an ingrown hair a whole ago. And about 2 days ago, I dug into the skin and pulled 2 hairs out. But since then, it's inflamed with red ring around the area, with a white centre but with a hole in the middle. I don't think I necessarily removed all the hairs (I think there was 3 and one is still in there) and I don't know if it's really infected or healing. I'm exfoliating, cleaning the pubic area and putting cocoa butter on the pubic area and on that specific spot I am putting pimple cream. Can anyone help?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It may be boil or infected cyst. Apply warm compresses,Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You  can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lump persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a gynecologist as you may need incision and drainage. Also then herpes sores should be ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
