Irregular period.

I had sex for the first time a few months ago and ever since my period has been really irregular and it had been very regular previously. first, I didn't get my period for nearly two months and then when I finally got it, it was really light - unlike normal when it is really heavy. I got it for a couple days - when I normally get it for around a week. My period went and then came back a few days later. In the last month, I have had my period at least 3 times. I have been having the worst period pain - to the point where I am crying and I have a high pain threshold. My last period has been quite heavy. I am really worried and only young so I'm not sure what to do. please help!

Wow.  Call an advice nurse, tell her what's going on, and if she says to go see a doctor, hand the phone to your mom and ask the nurse to explain to her that you need to seek treatment as this is far too much for one month.

Tell your parents about the irregular periods and the fact you've had three periods in one month.  I'm doubting you're pregnant, but something is off whether it's hormones or something else that needs treatment.  You don't even have to mention you've had sex.

If u had sex theres a chance u could be pregnant doesnt matter if its the first time or the 100th time. Take a home test just so u will know.  Im not a dr so i cant say its not possible bit speaking for myself sex has never changed my very regular cycle in any way.  U say u are young so if u have a parent available u need to tell them whats going on so they can help u get to the dr. And figure out the problem. Its hard for young girls to tell their parents things it can be very scary so maybe u have a close friend whos mom u cam tell and they can help u tlk about it with ur parentit might be easier that way. U cant keep this to irself and just go on like nothing is wrong because it could be very unhealthy for u so please seek advice of q parent or a doctor please. Good luck dear i will keep u in prayers
