Is back pain and lower cramping a normal 'after-period' thing for you? If it isn't I would go see a doctor about it. I suffer from lower back pain the whole month through which gets worse during and just after my period yet the pain gradually starting appearing from my very first period. It could just be the hormones but if you're still worried see a doctor, they know best. Best of luck x

Did you check for a pregnancy. Even though it was protected it can still happen. Also do you have any fibroids or cysts? That can explain the pain and the heavy bleeding
