Vaginal Discharge

I have a greenish discharge that reminds me of snot. In texture it's like something fairly normal but the color is a little concerning. I have also had a vague itching sensation in the last few days. Is this something I should be concerned about or is my body just messing with me?

green vaginal discharge is a sign of Trichomoniasis, which is an STD caused by bacteria. To my knowledge this is the only infection that causes green discharge. Bacterial vaginosis causes a fishy smelling white discharge, a yeast infection causes a thick clumpy white discharge. you need to see a doctor as soon as possible and get antibiotics. I would ask them to test you for Trichomoniasis, as well as gonorrhea and chlamydia
