Lump on my bikini line. HELP!

The other day i noticed a small redish lump on my bikini line. I have looked for answer on what it is on the web but i don't think it is the same thing.
I have read people saying it is a boil but it doesn't have a head on it.
I'm really scared about it being cancer.
I don't want to tell my mum and i'm only 16 so i can't go to the doctors about it, but if it gets worse i'm sure i will.
Does anyone know what it might be.
I'm not sure if it is an ingrowing hair or not. I have never had one before so i don't know what it looks like.
Could anyone please help me?

thank you

It sounds like an ingrown hair to me too.  Just keep an eye on it and if it changes and gets bigger or changes color talk to your mom.  They sell stuff that you can use that will prevent ingrown hair bumps. I just dont remember what it was called.  You use it when you shave.  I really helps.

Well, it really does sound like an ingrown hair.

Sometimes they don't have white heads.

Do you shave your bikini line?
Is it the size of a pimple or zit?
