Medroxyprogesterone and still no period ....

A couple years ago, I was told I had hypothyroidism. My husband and I moved, and I had a positive on a pregnancy test. Now I hadn't taken my medicine for my thyroid in months, b/c I was trying to boost my metabolism naturally by exercising, and I had a period and spotting during the months not on the medication. When I got the positive on the digital pregnancy test, we went and had blood work done, and a sonogram, and I was told my thyroid was fine and that I was not pregnant. My husband and I were worried b/c I never have a regular period and can go months without one, and asked the doctor why I did not have one, and that's when the doctor said that she was going to put me on Provera. The pharmacy gave me Medroxyprogesterone which I know as the generic version of Provera. I was on it for 7 days, then a week later, no period, so my doctor put me on another 7 day trial. It's been a few days since my last pill and still no period. Is there any reason I would not have my period? Or anything I should be concerned about? I'm starting to get worried b/c I've never heard of this pill not making someone have their period.
