Morning sickness or stomach flu?

For the past week or so, I have been waking up during the night feeling so nauseous where two nights out of the past five I have actually vomited. One night I woke up and ran to the bathroom feeling as if I were getting ready to vomit, I prepared myself but nothing came out so I sat there for a little bit and tried to see if I had to empty the bowels, where I found myself to have diarrhea and after that episode I was fine and went back to sleep. The next night I woke up with another horrible nauseous feeling, but did not vomit. The same with the night after that, and even last night. I doubt it's the flu, because usually it's just a 24 hour bug. And I have also been experiencing cramping with the nausea, as if I were to get my period (which is supposed to be due this coming Friday, December 14th) and my ovulation was the 29th of November through the 4th of December..... I have noticed a drastic change in my eating habits too, I'm eating a lot more food as normal. Could I be pregnant?

I was supposed to get my period today but it has yet to come. I have been very nauseous the past few days but I was also in a car accident and was diagnosed with a concussion so I am not sure if it is sickness from the concussion or morning sickness. I am awaiting a pregnancy test for a few days because with my luck my period will come and I will be disappointed as always so I am just gonna wait a few more days.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These symptoms could be due to gastroenteritis or pregnancy if there is a history of any unprotected intercourse. Hence to confirm the status of pregnancy, I suggest you to test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test. Also then I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
