My Labia Minora is Big...I hate it!

My Labia Minora is large and it makes me insecure about the lower region of my body. My boyfriend thinks he's ready for sex, and I would if my labia was smaller and more attractive. I understand no vagina is perfect but mine could at least be a little better. What can I do to fix this?

You might look at the gallery on Betty Dodson's website.  Here is from her artist's statement, please look at her second paragraph:

"Until the age of 35, I hid my imaginary genital deformity by avoiding oral sex and bright lights in the bedroom. I actually believed I’d stretched my inner lips from too much childhood masturbation. ... When my website went up, I created a Genital Art Gallery [so] ... never again would another woman think there was something wrong with her vulva for lack of positive imagery.

Today, many women in the adult industry have undergone surgery for the removal of their extended inner lips to achieve what one surgeon calls 'the Clamshell Look,' reminiscent of a pre-pubescent girl.  Other women began to want a similar look.

To counter this unnecessary cosmetic surgery, my Genital Art Gallery has become a research project where both women and men can share as well as appreciate the vast diversity of our magnificent sex organs."

As you can see, Betty Dodson doesn't think big labia are anything to hide your head in shame about.   Nor does any man I have ever asked.  It comes out something like this:

Some women -- Big labia = anxiety
All men -- Big labia =  "Where?  Where?"

You can't fix it unless you're willing to go under the knife & even then you may not like the outcome and you could lose feeling in your labia region. I have a large labia minora and my boyfriend finds my vagina to be very pretty and he enjoys eating me out so i guess he likes how big it is :) Be happy with what you have, enjoy your body!
