I am just going to paste in my post from the endometriosis forum and hope maybe anyone has some insight or could point me in the right direction...
I have some strange symptoms, that just might be nothing.. But I read an article in a magazine about endometriosis and decided to do some researching. I haven't really come up with any concrete symptom information , because it seems to vary, as well as severity.
Slight trouble urinating, only at the end it feels as though I need to bare down to finish ? if I don't do that, I feel like I have to pee, constantly. Every now and then I get these twinges down around where my uterus and ovaries and such are located, or a random shooting pain. This is rather infrequent, but sometimes it is pretty sharp, and only lasts for a few seconds. Occasionally mid-cycle or just post-menstrual, it sort of [at risk of sounding a bit crazy] feels like after I eat, it hurts/cramps around that area for a few minutes as if it is having trouble digesting. I occasionally, but not always, get a few really bad periods, sometimes where the cramping is so bad I just want to lay in bed all day, and not move. And lastly [from what I can recall] I have an almost constant discharge, not like and all day long constant, but it is random, throughout the day, every single day, at any given time in my cycle. I really don't know if this is relevant to this particular concern, but I had what my Dr. called pre-cancerous cells forming on my cervix while I was pregnant, about a year and a half ago. could that have something to do with my symptoms instead? Or could those cells be mistaken, and actually be endo ?
I got my 3rd or 4th ever diagnosis of BV from the Dr. today wtf is that all about? It never goes AWAY, based on my personal gauging of symptoms, it seems unchanging. But this is their only clue, at almost every pap {except one that came back normal, from what I can recall} and it was quite uncomfortable/slightly painful to have that exam this time. There would be more point in them calling me to say "Guess what, you don't have bv this time" than there is for them to not, almost.
Started my period today and it is very crampy and painful, to note.
