Period Panic

I have been having some severe cramping during my period that
1) I'm Dizzy
2) I get hot flashes
3) Severe vomiting
Etc

This type of cramping has been happening for a while and I'm freaking out. Its really light and hurts so bad that it inables me to walk until it subsides (from a few hours to 2 days) and I dont know why ibuprofen and other over the counter products do not work as well as heat to the abdomen.
I am 18 and not sexually active and scared. My mother thinks am being a drama queen and won't believe me and take me to the doctor.
I just really want answers or an idea of the reason please.

I had the same issue.  It is normal!  It ***** and there isn't much you can do!  Birth control helps but not the healthiest route. I was on birth control from 14 to 21. When I went off my Dr gave me ketorolac (sp?) It works magic! I am not kidding! Talk to your Dr. It isn't daily and only taken as needed.

I had this too. Invest in a good heating pad. Is about all I can say. Sometimes it just happens and it *****. Don't over do the meds though cus that can hurt you. If you use tampons maybe change to pads on the bad days ( mine were always around the first 2-3 days)
