Why do I have crepitus in my lower abdomen now five months after having a c-section?

I am 41 years old and had an emergency c-section in January. I then developed an abscess which they had to open me back up and drain. Now it has been almost five months. I have been noticing lately that I sometimes have crepitus in my lower abdomen just below my belly button. It isn't there all the time and it doesn't hurt. I just never noticed it before my surgery.
