How long will it take for my cervix to stop bleeding after Chlamydia treatment?

I have been bleeding pretty heavily for 15 days from my cervix.
I went to the doctor around a week ago and he told me my cervix was the cause for all the blood. I also tested positive for Chlamydia. Three days ago I started my treatment: 4 tablets of azithromycin. I have still been bleeding heavily with no change of flow. Is this blood a cause of the Chlamydia and in which case shouldn't it be getting better from the treatment?
