Swollen very painful breasts! help!

For about a week not my breasts have been so tender that i cant even lie on my stomach. If I tap the side of one of them of get a hug I am in immense pain, This has never happened to me before, Ive had breast soreness before a period before, but NEVER to this extreme. I'm scheduled to get my period today but it hasn't come yet. I just dont know what to do the only thing that helps is a steaming hot shower, and only until i get out, i dont know how much longer i can deal with this pain! I feel like I cant do anything without being in pain!

Also not only this, but my lower abdomen (Uterus/ovaries) is hard and painful, like right now im getting cramping sharp pains near my left ovary, while yesterday I had it in my right ovary.

Oh i hope its not bad, I mean I usually get some discomfort, but my nipples are a dark red almost purplish color and everything is just swollen and painful. Ive also had cramps like im on my pd for a week, but it still hasn't come. Could ovarian cysts cause pain like this? Im just at a loss

I'm so sorry that you feel so bad. I was going to suggest warm showers but you are already doing that. Try an over the counter analgesic (pain reliever) Aleve has worked very well for me in the past. Try drinking more water to help with fluid retention. Sounds like you got a bad cycle coming on. I hope you get relief soon. Best wishes BB
