Vagina area smells like body odor

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I have.
Im 20 years old and lately I've noticed that my vagina smells like body odor, the same kind of smell under arms smell like when sweating and no deodorant. I dont know why all of a sudden I smell like this. After paying close attention to it for about the last few weeks I've noticed that it only smells when I wear skirts or dresses all day. When I wear shorts I dont have the problem. Can anyone relate to this or know what may be causing it? Could this be from sitting at a desk all day with my thighs touching and causing them to sweat? Anything would help! Thanks.

It can be caused by a build up of sweat down there which creates a moist environment creating a build up of bacteria making it smell musty or like body odour
Hope I could help

I found that this smell is caused by bacteria living on the skin. Use a fresh lemon and apply it to the area followed by Apple Cider Vinegar before a shower. This completely removed any smell from me (used in the vaginal area as well as underarms and feet). It just requires upkeep, once a week or so.

It's not your vagina its just the thighs that fold like the arm pit. Get summers eve wipes and clean yourself during the day. What underwear are you wearing during that time? Dont wear thongs or small cheeky underwear. get underwear more like boy shorts together folds not touch as much. Use a natural deodorant between your legs like Schmidt's deodorant. Wear long dresses so you can sit with your legs a part and let the area air out a little.

I have have the same issue. And no it's not an std or bacterial infection. It's coming from the crease of our inner thighs. I'm thinking it has something to do with our sweat glands. I've been to the doctor and everything is perfect internally. I'm still looking for answers myself.

I read this thread a long time ago but came back to it because last night I had this problem. I have had this issue in the past but last night it was ten times more horrifying and I was wearing a dress!  I wonder if there is legitmately something about the "wearing a dress" part.  I stayed at my friend's house and I literally had to shower and hand-wash my underwear when we got back to her house. Otherwise it would have smelled up her house. That's how strong it was. So disturbing.  This vaginal oH thing is ridiculous. I take probiotics and vinegar tabs but it just comes back if I miss a day.  I don't know why some of us have to keep on it so much.
