Vaginal lesions

I am 36 years old and have had the same partner (faithfully)  for 11 years.  About 10 years about I started having these sores develop in my vaginal region.  They almost looked like little blisters.  I will just call them Vaginal lesions.  When they are about to show up the area will start to itch and burn slightly.  Then the vaginal lesion arrives there is considerable pain.  It will last for about a week then go away.  When they first appeared I would get one or two at a time then they would go away, but a couple of weeks later a would get another.  I was miserable.  Through the years
they have lessened.  Last year I only had one and now, about a year later, I have another. OB/gyn

Who knows. I'm 29 and have experienced this since my teens. I have also experienced the itching, burning follwed by blisters then open sores. Very painful. I have not always had protected sex. I get this maybe once a year and lasts about a week. I have thought for a long time that it's herpes and to be quite honest have been too scared to really admit it. I have had blood tests that have shown negative. But I've been told that to get the best results you should have it swabbed when the break-out occurs. I just had my first child a year ago and had to talk to my gyno about it in fear that I could pass it on to my baby. During my pregnancy I had quite a few under skin large bumps near the vagina opening that turned out to be vaginal cycts. She told me not to worry about it. They would go away everytime within a week. Today is the first day in longer than 2 years that I have gotten the open sores on the inside of one of my lips. I also just started my peroid. I get pretty down when this happens and I just came across this site in trying to figure this out. I truley hope that this isn't Herpes and in reading all your comments I can hold on to that hope. I also want to mention that I have Strep B as I've read above a few of you do as well and maybe it's connected (who knows).

Hello Everyone.  I am so excited that I have finally found a group of people that understand exactly what I am going through.  Though my symptoms now are like everyone elses there are vast differences in the beginning, I am a 31 year old african american woman.  10 years ago it started off as boils(absess) under my arms.  That was horrible for about 7 years twice a month I would get several under my arms.  Then it moved eventually to my pubic area.  Now not only do I get these boil once a month a few days before my cycle, now I am starting to get these painful lesions.  I also notice that for some reason any rubbing or sweating in my vaginal area is really what tends to start these lesions.  I have been tested for stds and group b strep last year when I was pregnant and came back negative.  My husband is an extremely patient and understanding man and does not make me feel bad about whats going on with me.  I also have symptoms of lack of sexual desire at times because I am afraid of what happens down there.  Lubes also cause a break out.  It would be so nice if a doctor could read all of our concerns and feel our pain and come up with a solution for us.  I am so scared because what if its a form of staph infection and it gets in my bloodstream and worse things happen.  I have to much to live for.  So if anyone has any solutions or answers please help us women out!!!

i HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM EXCEPT MY VAGINAL LESION HAPPENS IN THE SAME SPOT EVERY SINGLE TIME.  tHE WEIRD THING IS THE PROBLEM GOES AWAY A COUPLE DAYS BEFORE MY PERIOD AND DOES NOT COME BACK UNTIL ABOUT A WEEK AFTER MY PERIOD WITH THE SYMPTOMS GETTING WORSE.  tHIS CYCLE HAS BEEN OCCURING FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW.  THE DOCTOR I JUST SAW SAYS IT COULD BE HERPES BUT I DONT THINK IT IS BECAUSE I HAVE NOT HAD SEX IN WELL OVER TWO YEARS AND WE USED PROTECTION. I ALSO DONT THINK IT IS HERPES BECAUSE IT HAPPENS IN THE LOWER RIGHT REGION EVERY SINGLE TIME.  i WOULD THINK IF IT WAS AN INFECTION I WOULD BE HAVING PROBLEMS ELSEWHERE.  I HAVE A COUPLE MORE DAYS TELL I FIND OUT WHAT IT TRULY IS BUT FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN READIN I MIGHT NOT GET AN REAL ANSWEAR.  BTW I AM BLACK SO I DO NOT THINK THIS IS A PROBLEM FOR JUST FAIR SKINNED PEOPLE.

Hi everyone
I am 18 and I've also been having these paper cut like lesions on the inside of my labia. I've had them once before when I had a fever and pneumonia but there were only two very small cuts that bled and were some what painful. Now i pneumonia again with a fever and the cuts are back but they are way worse. They sting so bad and it's the most painful thing when I urinate that I only go to the restroom once a day. I've been two three different doctors and they all say they don't know what it is and that it looks like herpes. This frustrates me because I am a virgin and don't know how that is possible. I thought i was the only one who had this. I tried putting a little vitamin E oil on the cuts and it helps a little bit. Does any one know what this could be? I hope you all get better.
