periods?????

Hi! I got my period one day late (I guess that is normal). My partner did not ejaculate inside. Now bleeding starts with red color and changes to brown with a very strange smell and it almost stopped. I can say that the amount of bleeding was very less. Also I have stomach cramps, back ache, and my legs hurt. What are the possible reasons that I should be worried of in this case?
Thank you!
