Is this herpes or bacterial infection?!?

Saturday night I had really dry, unprotected sex with someone I believe is clean, but I can't be totally sure. Sunday night I had dry sex again, this time with an unlubricated condom. Both times my vagina was sore and swollen afterwards, and Monday I noticed a more sharp pain. When I looked, I saw a wound/opening on my right labia. It now looks like an ulcer with a white top, about a quarter inch in diameter. I went to the doctor who told me he is 80% sure it is herpes. I am completely freaking out waiting for the test results. He said I also had a bacterial infection down there and he have me antibiotics. It seems to me that the symptoms seem more like an infected ulcer or something rather than herpes, but I would love to hear peoples' opinions?!

Results are in and it isn't herpes! It cleared up very quickly once I started the abtibiotics, so most likely just a bacterial infection.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It is very less likely for herpes lesions to appear 2 days after intercourse. It can be a boil or an ulcer due to bacterial infection. Most individuals have no or only minimal signs or symptoms from HSV-1 or HSV-2 infection. When signs do occur, they typically appear as one or more blisters on or around the genitals or rectum. The blisters break, leaving tender ulcers (sores) that may take two to four weeks to heal the first time they occur. Typically, another outbreak can appear weeks or months after the first, but it almost always is less severe and shorter than the first outbreak.

The only way of ruling it out is by getting yourself tested for genital herpes. Laboratory tests include: culture of the virus, direct fluorescent antibody (DFA) studies to detect virus, skin biopsy, and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to test for presence of viral DNA. I sincerely advise you to consult a dermatologist and get it ruled out.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Oh and just to mention, it's only one sore and I see no small blisters that I see in pictures of herpes
