I need a little advice

I could use a little advice ( I live with no other woman, nor is there one I am willing to ask). But I was about 1, 1 1/2 weeks late for my period then I started to spot. I spotted for about 2 weeks ( Starting off pinkish and slowly progressing to red). THEN I started my period which has been going on for about 2 weeks now. Is this normal because i'm thinking of making an appointment with my GP because this is the first time since I was about 12 that I was irregular.

And i'm in no way shape or form pregnant (I'm still a virgin). Help!

Since you don't give your present age, it's difficult to say. It doesn't sound like a normal period, but since you have never had sex...I'd keep the appointment with your GP, since you have no other lady to talk to. You will have someone medical to advise you better.
