could i be pregnant

My period always comes on a 24 day cycle (like clock work).  In October it came 4 days early.  In November it came 2 days late.  And in December my period came 4 days late and stayed on for 10 days.  5 days longer than usual.  Days 7-10 was spotting. My breasts were tender a week before my period. I did not have any cramping which is very unusual. My breasts are still tender, very firm, and appear to be getting larger a week later.  I also have a slight vaginal odor with a faint pink discharge.  I have taken 2 hpt which both say negative.  I am 40 years old and have no live children.  Could these be symptoms of perimenopause?

Well I am 47 my period used to come like clock work 27-28 days it has changed. It came on early and late before it became stable to 26 days. It will continue to change as you get older. I assume it is pre menopause.
