I never had it nor did any of my friends.  It should be slight and not last long.  Are the cramps gone?

Hi there.  Welcome.  Well, you say you are afraid to take the test.  Better to know than not to.  Knowing earlier gives you more time to plan and make important decisions such as keeping the baby yourself, adoption, or termination.  Really important to know so you can also begin prenatal care if you are keeping the baby or letting a loving couple adopt it.

Side effects for pregnancy are different for every woman.  However, one thing is that early on, most don't have too many side effects due to the fact that they come about with the build up of the hormones of pregnancy.  It takes time for them to accumulate enough to cause the pregnancy.  Nausea, for example, doesn't typically start until around 6 to 7 weeks into the pregnancy for most women.

Some women do spot during pregnancy.  However, you're having cramps too.  If they worsen or the blood turns red--  it could be a miscarriage.  And of course, it could just be your period starting as well.  That is why you need to  know if you are pregnant or not.
Home pregnancy tests are reliable and accurate.  I really recommend just taking the test.   good luck

I would deff take a pregnancy test. Ask a good friend to maybe be there for the results. Best of luck.
