hello. so im 16 years old and im ready to have sex with my boyfriend. i love him very much and he loves me, but theres one thing stopping me from having sex with him. im one of the lucky people that have labia minora, i honestly hate it to death. it brings down my self-esteem soo much. i want to have sex with him because it just seems like the next step, but hes been with other girls and had sex many times before so hes seen what a "normal" vagina looks like.. im scared he wont like it or be completely disgusted what do i do?
I am 18 and I have the same thing. i used to be very embarassed about it, but it turns out most guys don't really care, and some men even prefer it. No need for surgery, you're perfectly normal.

I am 16 and I had this same problem as long as I can remember. I thought I was the only person who had this problem until today. I found out that everyone has this weird skin thing, but mine ( and apparently others) is longer. I am thinking about telling my mom, so I can get surgery to shorten it. But I am so embarrassed. Maybe you can talk to a gynecologist or your doctor and they can help you. I think that's what i'm going to do. It's really nice to know i'm not the only person with this problem. Good luck
I am your age too, and i totally understand! It makes me feel weird, and like theres something wrng with you, but if he really loves you he wont care, and if you trust him enough to have sex with him, then you have to trust that he wont judge you because of one little thing.
