just a little embarrassed

so at the end of June-beginning of July, I was taking antibiotics (cefadroxil) for a skin infection I had in my legs. The antibiotics caused me to have a yeast infection which I treated with vagisil. I stopped taking the antibiotics when this started, but the skin infection flared up again so I had to continue taking it. The yeast infection came back again but since I was away on vacation, I couldn't treat it. It went away on its own, or so it seemed. My period ended on the 8th and since then, I have had vaginal itching and burning. Along with it, I've had slight cramps and back pain. I've been looking into what my diagnosis could be and the number one suggestion that comes up is pelvic inflammatory disease. I know the only way to really know is to go see a doctor, but I just wanted some other opinions first.
