lump in pubic hair

i am 27yo, i found a red small pea sized lump in my pubis hair, quite low down, its quite painfull to touch.
i had a baby 12 weeks ago, but all was well, and am halfway through my first period.
please can someone tell me if they have an idea of what it might be, to ease my mind a bit.
many thanks. xxx
