Should first day menstruation be smelly?

So, you aren't giving a lot of information with just short answers. Hard to help you with that. Your period smells? that really isn't uncommon. You haven't left a tampon in have you? Or have bacterial vaginosis? Those are two things that can create quite a strong odor. but just an odor is probably the smell of blood and discharge. It's great being a woman, isn't it?
