Hi.
I have very similar symptoms to you.
I didn't get my period at all last month. Did pregnancy tests, all negative. I had horrible bloating, cramping and pain on my left side near ovary. I have this every time period is due. I got my next period, which just finished yesterday. Have had the ovary pain for about 3-4 weeks now, almost feels like a stitch. Hurts when I push to go to toilet, and even hurts while walking, every time I take a step with left leg. I don't have any children, and I also suffer from IBS, and schiatica, so not sure if it's from these things or my ovary. I have an appointment with a GYNO this Friday, so hopefully I will get some answers, and I'm hoping they are not bad.......I hope you Doctor gives you some answers on Wednesday to stop your pain.

Thanks.
Good luck again, to you also. I hope it takes away all your pain and troubles.
Yeah, I am going to get it all done, I'm just going through the organising of where to get it done, and by who. I would like the GYNO who I saw to do it, however, I am a public patient, which would mean I pay nothing, and she is private. I don't have private health insurance, and I am waiting on receiving a quote to see how much money would be involved. I just want to get it organised and over and done with. I went to my own GP today, and she explained alot of it for me, and my mind is a bit more at ease now. She said she strongly believes my bowel will not perforate, and the constipation could be due to cyst, and maybe endometriosis on my bowel, and believes all the pain is coming from the cyst, and perhaps endo......or adhesions

Just giving you an update.
I had my GYNO app. today. She found a cervical polyp and a "simple"cyst on my left ovary. These are probably the answers to my problems.
I have to have a Hysteroscopy to remove the polyp, and she suggested, at the same time, (but is not pressuring me) to have a Laparoscopy to have a look at/remove cyst, check if I have endometriosis, check if I have an adhesion (of ovary to something else) and check my fallopian tubes are ok, by using a dye (some of this is due to my age, if I want to have children, to check fertility) I'm pretty sure I will have both done, however, after reading the possible complications of a laparoscopy, I am SCARED S......S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do realise they have to state possible complications for all surgery, but I am still scared, and wondering if it would be any higher risk because I am a smoker, or risk of bowel perforation because I have IBS, with an extra loopy bowel. Do you know?  Even though she told me that she doesn't believe the cyst or polyp are cancerous, I still have a slight fear they could be, or that I may be told I wont be able to have a baby....................................I have just spoken to her via e-mail today, and she thinks as well as the cyst, possible adhesions or endometriosis, given the fact that it sometimes hurts when I push to go to toilet, it may also be something to do with my bowel. Now I am really SCARED, of a blockage in or adhesion to my bowel, and that it will cause a bowel perforation, which can be life threatening. I am a born worrier, and suffer anxiety, and I feel like all this is doing my head in. I have to wait to hear from her again, to see if I have to see her again to answer all my questions before I book op. O just want to get it all over and done with.
With yourself, I would stress strongly about the pain you are suffering, and that you want it dealt with. It can be very frustrating I know.....I am sorry to hear that you too are suffering. It's hard to say if it could be your fibroids, endo or IBS/Diverticulitis, or a combination that is causing so much pain. What is your pain like? Where is it? Is your IBS on the diareoa or constipation side? Mine is the latter, and even worse since these problems have risen, which is why I fear a blockage. My pain is sort of like a stitch, sort of sharp, sometimes dull?, and its near my ovary, pubic bone, and into my groin and down my leg. I also suffer from sciatica in the same leg and my IBS wouldn't help.
I feel like a mess, and a reject/defect. Hope you get some answers when you go to the doc. Keep me informed. Take care.
