Can a vaginal infection such as bacterial or yeast throw off your period?

I believe that I have either a yeast or bacterial infection..that i need to get checked out. I havent had a period in 2 months..can this be the cause or is it b/c i have been stress and recently ive had a cold..

Im not pregnant so, I dont know whats the problem. I just got over a cold and I think that I have a yeast or bacterial infection for a while..I just havent had time to get checked out yet

Hi there and welcome.  Well all can be related that you mention.  Your hormones can be out of whack and hence, leading to ph problems within and the discharge problems you've noticed but these hormones could also throw off your period.  Things like vaginal infections, yeast infections can also throw off a period.  Stress can be linked as well.  

I'm sure you've taken a pregnancy test, right?  that would be the thing to do at this point if you haven't.  

And if your period doesn't show soon, it is worth a pelvic exam to help figure out what is going on.  peace and luck
