pregnant and a period?

Just out of curiosity I was wondering if you could be pregnant and still have a period? I understand you could still spot a little and be pregnant but can you have a regular full blown period and be pregnant? Not a miscarriage but a period?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Once pregnancy occurs, cessation of menses occurs. If there is any spotting or bleeding in early pregnancy then it can be due to implantation bleeding or miscarriage bleeding.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
