problems with vaginal discharge

my discharge has been mucous-like and white (sometimes clear). at first I was itching like crazy...but now I don't itch much at all.

Sometimes, i have an odor. tried douching with ACV (apple cider vinegar), but that only worked for a day..

i'm thinking it's either a yeast infection or BV (bacterial vaginosis). i haven't had sexual relations in over a month because of this problem.

what could it be?

I went in 2 weeks ago to get a STD test....I'm negative for STD's but positive for bacterial vaginosis.

White and clear mucus are relatively normal for any woman (unless they are heavy and clotty).  The odor might indicate BV.  In your shoes, I'd go see the ob-gyn.  Especially if  you think you have BV, don't wait.  It's relatively mild when you get it but can cause serious inflammation and affect your future fertility.
