Why could I be spotting so much before my period? It's been a week already and I don't get my period until Sunday the 21st of July.
I had spotting for a week and a half then got my period which was lighter and shorter. Very annoying. Now my vagina is super itchy!

One of the reasons for causing such spotting is of an early upcoming period. Other than that, if there is a history of any unprotected intercourse then chances of pregnancy are there.
You can do a urine for pregnancy test after 1 week of missing your periods if you miss them or get a serum HCG test done which is more specific than a urine test.
