mederma makes a cream for stretch marks which is proven to be pretty effective!!! I will be buying it in a couple week after my stretch marks heal a bit more (had a baby 9 weeks ago) but i have read a lot of reviews on it and a lot of woman have seen a lot of improvement with it

There's also a thing called a Dermaroller that's supposed to work on stretchmarks/scars etc. I only started using mine yesterday, it took me a week to build up the courage! It's basically a load of tiny needles that you roll onto your skin. It doesn't make you bleed, but causes just enough trauma to your skin to tell your body to start healing. You do it regularly and so the skin keeps healing itself over and over until the scars/stretchmarks are gone. It feels like a scratchy tickle on my body, not sore, but on the face it's noticeably more painful, though I have quite a large size needle and the smaller ones are more designed for faces. You CAN use numbing cream too, but I didn't have any! Have a look at the site:

and see what you think. I've spent 15yrs  thinking I'd never be able to get rid of my marks, but now I have hope that I can at least fade them!

No, but time will fade them.  The red and white will fade to more of the silvery color of old scars, and pretty soon they won't be very noticeable.  Later on, after they fade, if they still look too extreme to you, you might consult with a dermatologist to see about trying some kind of excision, but it might leave scars more noticeable than the stretch marks leave.
