lump under skin

I have a swollen lump under the skin on my right outer vaginal lip. How should I treat it and what might it be. If it helps I haven't shaved in a long time and know it's not an STD. It only hurts if you touch it.

How big is it? I had something very similar, about the size of a marble. You should check out this site and go see your doctor.... http://womenshealth.about.com/cs/dermatology/a/sebaceouscyst.htm

Good Luck!

Hey, I feel ya. Even though you haven't shaved in a while, it sounds like it is a nasty ingrown hair that turned for the worse. I get them *unfortunately* frequently even when I don't shave. Best advice I've been told is to put a warm compress on it and try to pop it. Gross huh? Hope this helps.
