Yeast Infection or std?

Six days ago I had unprotected sex. This partner has been safe in the past. Later that evening I started noticing burning from my vagina. I have a tendency to get irritated after sex, and I have reoccurring yeast infections. I've used monostat anti itch cream, no suppositories. It seems to help with the dryness and the burning, but it's never cleared up. Now I'm paranoid I have an std. So far, no bumps, sores, itching, odor, flu symptoms. My entire vagina is red and I feel pressure in the clitoral region. I went to planned parenthood to get tested yesterday. I'm waiting on the blood work and cultures. They say it's to early to tell what it is. Any ideas what it could be?
