6 months clean today minus 8 hour bump

yes, i don't need to be reminded that i used for a brief few hours a couple weeks ago which i put an end to after posting and seeking help. that put aside, i am 6 months clean from coke today. the hardest battle i have ever fought, but at this point now, it has become a lot easier. i still get hit with cravings now and then, but they are not as strong and i have learned to fight and talk about them, never hide.  the money i am saving now is incredible, but the best part is waking up in the morning not hating myself. i can look in the mirror now and like what i see. sure i still have some bad days, but maybe 1 or 2 bad days a month, not 30 bad days like when i used, i can live with that. my future is not scary no more as long as i know i can never go back to that lifestyle and continue looking forward to this second chance at life, i have worked for this so hard and so have all of you here. lets keep going and getting stronger and stronger each day.

Congrads on the 6 mo. your right you can not let that bump you hit define you, the fight for the last 6 mo is who you are and hitting the bump and falling just to jump right back up and brushed yourself off makes you even stronger then before.
Way to go Giz, be very proud of yourself cause we sure are proud of you!!!!!
hugs,
bobby

1. I congratulate you on your six months clean.

2. I congratulate you on how much you have helped others.

Both are huge accomplishments that you should be proud of.  Without in any way minimalizing the first accomplishment, the second accomplishment is huge.

So, you have just completed six months of supporting, offering advice, offering your hand to a tremendous amount of people who truly needed it at the time. You have gained many many friends on this site.

I congratulate and thank you!

Giz sometimes things do go bump in the night, LOL, but you've worked so hard to get to where you're now and I think that one little mistake you made only made you stronger! 6 months is a huge milestone and you should be so proud because I know I am!
Keep up the great work and thank you for being there for me when I needed it. You're a wonderul person and you deserve the very best!
