Being Dumb

At the risk of being a complete idiot, I have a question. How do we keep drifting from the current date to post made back as far as June. This doesn't bother me, but I'm just curious. I know there is going to be some loogical answer and I'm going to want to crawl under my desk.

LoL...cause they are old post that people are recently responding too. Not question is ever a dumb question. I had NO clue the answer to that as well when I first came on here and it bothered me to death....I was not as brave and asked though. LoL!

LOL!  Lady Sundown...like bmdad said..peeps google topics and are led to this forum...like he said...they post without looking at the date..thinking they r posting on sumpin from 5 minutes ago...it is always good to re-direct them as their issue may need help or support from members here///and the post can get lost in the long post form 1988

LOL    For some reason,while searching and reading old posts,folks tend to add or offer their two cents to the post without looking at the original date.  I've noticed this,as well. It usually happens with folks new to the forum.   Usually someone(like Avis) catches this and tries to get them to move to a new thread.     Be careful crawling out from under that desk...don't mess your hair...bang your head...or hit your knees...

People will just search the internet with a question and it brings up the med help page under their search results. They click on that link and it brings them right to that question. They then post to that question without realizing the post is so old. If you went to google and typed in some keywords from one of your older posts, more than likely it would come up under google. It's a public forum and none of the information is private so any post can come up under a google search at any time.
