My Stinkin Thinkin ! Someone slap me !

I am down to a crumb of sub. I break a 2mg into 8 pieces. It' so small my brain can't do the math as to how many mgs it might be. I think it's time to go to evey other day, but my addict brain says I must have that crumb every morning.  I don't think about pills or sub the rest of the day. I was going to wait until I had a week off, but business has suddenly picked up (good thing), so thats my new exscuse.  I feel fine when I wake up in the morning, so I'm sure I could go to every other day painlessly, yet my addict brain says I need to take something in the morning.  GRRRRRR

It would really help me if one of you would break into my house and swap my sub for crumbs of baby aspirin. I bet I wouldn't even notice the difference. LOL
P.S.  I won't press charges for the burglary !

Good job on your tapering. I am also so glad that business has picked up.
FYI 0.25mg/pill is your dose. Sounds like placebo time.:)

I have no real advise except to say that if you can go to every other day, like you said, then do that.  Other posts suggest a substitute, so maybe a substitute every other day.

Mary, I have read posts about some withdrawals after going ct off .50mg and 25mg. It is, of course, your choice, but you have tapered very well, so continued tapering (every other day, then every third day) could be an option.

One other thing, Mary.  There have been many posts about sub withdrawals, but I don't remember many people staying on this forum to let us know about any PAWS, or anxiety, or depression after. I know everyone is different, but your continued story would be helpful.  In other words, you could serve as an example of long term tapering of sub, which, I believe, the doctors say is around a 71% success rate.

Great job, Mary.  Enjoy your life, always remeniscent of your conquest of a very difficult situation.

LMAO!!! As I was reading your post. I was thinking, trick your brain, and the day you do not take the sub, use a peice of chewable baby asprin...... That was so funny...

Sorry you are going through this. It might work...

So you have a rat terrier huh? I have one too that was given to me a couple of months ago. He's just now 7 months old and is a wonderful dog. He has a ton of energy but if I'm resting so is he! I would love to get a PM from you telling me about their overall personality as I'm still learning about him. I've always had boxers and this little guy is so different from them!

Thought so, I am an old guy, in body only... LOL thought your pics were some type of dogs. mine takes a nap with me every time I lay down, even if he has been alone and asleep all day. they will move when you do.
I don't know anything about this taper deal you are doing, but it sounds like it is coming to a screaming  halt.
I am not trying to sound mean but, consider taking what you have, stop trying to prolong this and stock up on the Thomas Recipe, get some support (My Wife was invaluable) and as I said before she has the bedside manner of a brick! Buck it up and go for it . A week from now you will be a diffrent person! Banannas ,juice, soup, force it if you have to, I did. I hardly ate anything for a week! but today will be 18 and I eat ok now and feel much better. Prayers and good luck!

I'm amazed you are able to break a pill into 8 pieces!  Congrats... you are down to taking a crumb anyway, maybe you can trade that for a coffee mint or something. : )

Thanks. I'm not very good about taking my vitamins. I have a hard time eating anything in the morning and hate vitamins on an empty stomach.  It's really weird because I'm over weight and love my food, but can't seem to eat a thing in the morning. I have been like this my whole life.  Your right though, I need to change this bad habit for a good one.  Do they make vitamins that look like sub ? LOL

Funny post.  Are you taking vitamins?  When I started taking those, I immediately had no (mental) loss of taking pills.  You take about 12 three times/day. You will not miss anything else.  I take them right when I get up in the morning - just like my old white pills. It does help to fill that void...

Sounds like you are doing great. Keep it up and keep us informed of your progress!
