HALLUCINATIONS FROM WITHDRAWAL?

Im freakin out. Im having audible hallucinations, as well as visual ones. Lots of flashing lights, but theres no place they could come from. Im in day 6, its worse than i ever expected. I should of tapered. As for seeing things, any thoughts, ideas, reasons why? I slept this morning from 6am to 1pm. The hallucinations started hours ago. I see green laser lights shining around the room, flashe of white and red light, but i can never catch them directly. But they occur every 30 seconds or so. Im goin to clinic tomorrow

Casper I really wouldn't wait until the morning because you need help NOW! I am very concerned about your mental state and as gnarly mentioned in another post this is becoming more like a psychological break than mere withdrawls. I am really really praying for you...  I think you should listen to some of the advise from others.  I went through a HORRIBLE subutex detox more than 2 years ago - I have gone through heroin withdrawl, a few times :(, and I honestly think subutex compared and maybe exceeded my worse heroin detox experience.  And I did do the taper...  But what you are describing sounds even more horrific & exponentially so.  Please take care - - - - thinking & praying...

I did some research for u and this is what I found out...

According to AAMOD, some people withdrawing from the Suboxone ingredient buprnorphine experience psychological symptoms. These symptoms may include hallucinations such as seeing, hearing and feeling things that are not there.
-also I read where mixxing klonopin and suboxone for a long time will cause hallucinations and  And audible ones as well.
I really think u need to fet to the hospital bc it's getting serious. Not only r u  messing with ur health u r also messing with ur mental health.  U can end up **** some serious long term damage. I really hope u get some help. Plz take our advice. Maybe just call a doctor (e en if it's not ur doctor) and tell them ur symptoms and how u stopped taking ur suboxone I'm sure they will tell u what to do. Keep us posted and let us know how u r feeling.

Hey, this is an old post but would coming off pain pills, klonopin, and vyvanse cause the hallucinations as well as audible screaming? I've been taking vyvanse and klonopin for about 8 years and pain pills heavy for about a year because of knee surgeries and then was cut off and that's when they started, please someone help me because it's scaring me.

I havent herd a thing since late last night....im am genuinely concired for this guys well being...he has became manic and need to be admitted to a phyc ward for the physiological aspect of his detox he could be a danger to himself if he dosent get help
I hope and pray someone other then himself took him to an E/R for a evaluation with those symptoms they will admit him...at this point all we can do is pray......Gnarly

I got a message from him earlier tonight. He was in really bad shape and I hope and pray he took our advice and went to the ER. Please Casper if your reading this post as soon as possible and let  us know what's going on. He pm'd me his number and I'm going to send him a text and hopefully he replies. I'm really worried about him as everyone else is too. He doesn't seem to have much in the way of support in his life and this worries me even more that he might get into trouble and have no one around to help. Hope he replies to my text, if he does I'll update right away.

So at least we know hes "ok" without being ok...  It didnt have much info in it, just a few questions.  Im hoping he will post soon for everyone.

He didnt say anything about going to the ER, He just said that he doesnt understand why its so bad, and that hes close to caving.

I sent him a PM about two hours after he left the note for me, and I havent gotten a reply yet, hopefully we hear something soon.

Hi Sarah ,

He sent me a message and is going to the clinic to tell them what's going on with him and see if he van get some meds to help calm him down. He said he was experiencing both auditory and visual hallucinations until today and that he is at his breaking point and even mentioned suicide but assured me he would not act on those thoughts, that's just how horrible he feels.

I wrote him back and tried to give him encouragement and asked him to update me asap, if I hear anything I'll post it.

we're worried , you know...

it seems we're our worst enemies and we think that we can do all by ourselves...what ga guy said in his thread is the plain truth and we make things worse being that way...  but it doesn't have to be this way... you don't have to wait more for the worst to come to just ask for medical help, pls. It's not a matter of being tougher than anyone else or having the willpower to endure whatever comes here and then having to give up. It's a matter of not hurting your health more than it's already been harmed ...your system, organs, brains are already hurting enough and asking you to help them and to do things better for them.

you're being really very brave ....take the next step, pls, casper :)

By the way the hospital didn't do much. They said they offer no detox there and I have to look around for one after the weekend but I am so ready to go be locked up for a couple of weeks right now regardless of anything else.

now, make sure you're drinking a lot of fluids and i mean a lot of them ( water, gatorades, aquarius..) to keep running your system, organs and brain  and to help detoxing through sweating, it's essential keeping hydrated.
