Detox cold turkey from roxys

I am on my 4th day cold turkey, with exceptions of vallium last night.  My heart hurts this morning and my arm muscle is trobbling.  How long will these terrible withdrawls last?  I have been on them 1 year.  I started taking 1 roxy a day half in morning than it progressed to 2 a day.  I only took them orally.  My husband doesn't know I am a drug addict and it would kill him.  He is very sick and I am the sole provider at this time for my family.  I have forced myself to go to work (not today) housework, ride the bike, walk the dogs but not at a normal pace but Im doing it none the less.  This bites.  I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.

It wasn't easy but I forced myself.  I highly reccomend exercise to anyone who is feeling down.  My knees popped and ached but I did it WHOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!

I was up to 2 a day, the last two weeks prior to quitting I maybe did 3 a day.  My daughter did alot more a day.

How many mgs did u take each day?  i was back at work day 5 so u should feel better very soon..hang in there

Thanks again!  I'm feeling much better today but I hear day 5 is the killer.  I think the bike ride this morning helped a lot.

1-2 more days, you'll wake up and it will be over, and that seizure stuff, not at the doses you were doing, not to worry. your doing great!

Thanks!  I was scarred to death.  It is getting better.  I haven't vomited (but I've barley eatten) my head ache went away (for now at least) I have to body aches and chills and use the bathroom alot (even though I'm not eatting) and here is a good laugh my rear end hurts lol :)  My daughter and I are going through this together, only she and I know what's going on.  It's great to have someone in the same shoes and we do laugh a lot about what we are going through to help although it isn't funny.  I am a very determined person and so is she.  I have so much to live for.  Unfortunaly my children don't know it but their father is very sick and I want to get myself together to help him.  I already feel better.  Does anyone know how long I will feel like crud?  I want my life back!!!!!!!!!

I am pretty sure you will not go into seizures coming off of roxys.  I am 15 days clean ct from percs and there's not a whole lot of difference.  You are doing excellent and nearing the end of the physical withdrawal symptoms.  Addiction, as I am sure you know, does not care if you are a Christian, black, white, big, small, it attacks anyone.  You haven't let anyone down.  You are doing so good right now and for that you should be very happy.  Mostly, benzos and trams is what can cause you to go into seizures.  I haven't heard of anyone having seizures from roxys, percs, vics, and oxy's and any other opiate pill.  Hang tough though and keep on truckin'...you are doing GREAT!

Thanks!  I feel as if I let my family down and most of all God.  Thanks for the encoureging words I needed them.  People are scarring me saying I can go through seizures, is there any truth to that?  Thanks again.

I think you are nearing the end of the horrible W/D's ---  congratulations on 4 days -  that is awesome - -good job.  Hang in there  -   it gets easier from here.  Best to you.
