On day 4

I'm feeling pretty crappy today. I had upset stomach all night last night and today. My body feels stiff and achey. I'm taking chlonidine at night. Will day 5 look up? I'm actually going to buy some good vitamans and shakes from my pharmacists he sells schakley vitamans on the side. Any feedback/ support will help.

Hi Beth, Day 5 was also a major turning point for me. Some take longer but 5 seems to be common so hope your feeling better tomorrow. Did you read the Thomas Recipe under health pages at the top right of the forum? It tells you all of the things that will help you detox. There is also an amino acid protical. Read PAWS (Post Acute Withdrawl Symptoms) and I would recommend the craving list when you feel better because those cravings will come and it's better to be prepared. Read and post often. My DOC was hydros but I took oxys when I could get them. Keep active, think positive and keep looking forward. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. God bless, Corey

I'm gonna be honest with ya here. Usually people get to feeling better by day 5. The stomach problems during some other detoxes stayed with me a while. It really depends on the person, what they were taking, etc. We're addicts and are always looking for the quick fix. That's why we're so quick to take pills. The things you're going through now are your body healing itself. Just get through this one minute, one hour, and one day at a time. Things will be looking better shortly.
