Nurofen Plus Addiction
Hi iv been on tramadol in the past for two years taking upto 30 a day then early last year decided to taper off them all went great then in October last year I had a relapse and started buying Nurofen Plus it's been a rollercoster with them I stopped and started again but Sunday I decided enough is enough I have a 9 week old baby so I have to stop today is day 2 of c/t and isn't too bad I'm getting slight back pain and nausea but not too much else yet .

Well done Shauna that is really great keep it up I just got back from the doctors and he said that the withdrawl from Nirofen plus should be at its peek today and tomorrow and then should go pretty quick he was a bit more helpful this time and made me an appointment with a drugs worker for tomorrow afternoon to help with after the withdrawl thanks for all the comments and help I'll keep you all posted

My old doctor new about the tramadol he helped me with the taper but then I relapsed late last year I have moved to a new doctors since so hopefully a new face may be able to help day 2 isn't all that bad the back pain is getting to me a bit. I know the worst is yet to come apparently after day 3 or 4 things start to get easier well I hope so. I have been hiding the relapse from my partner as she struggled last time I gave in and told her this morning and she is being great. We have a daughter called Ella it was looking at her that made me think enough is enough I have the doctors in 20 minutes do fingers crossed thanks for the support.
Ahhhh good old tramadol. Hugs to you for reclaiming your life! You stay strong. Look at that baby, and stay strong. s

Congrats on getting back your life! You came off a high dose of trams so you will get thru this. Does your doctor know about your addiction?

The w/d symptoms have got slightly worse as the morning has gone on so have made an appointment with my gp hopefully he can help
