Out of Suboxen and worried!!

I have been taking Suboxen for about 1 month and I ran out yesterday was going to get my RX filled but when I went to take money out of my account, my husband has messed things up and now I have no money to get any. I take 2-8mg pills daily can anyone tell me how awful I am going to feel from not having it? Will it be as bad as narcs? PLease Help!!!! Thanks

I'm sorry this had to happen today, man I know the feeling of hopelessness too.  I ran out of mine and I thought I was going to go crazy, but it was good in a way because I realized what I was taking to "get me off" pain pills was just as bad as the pain pills.  My expeirience is that the sub w/d's last a good week longer, in my expeirince.  The narc w/d's lasted 4-5 days.

i did suboxone for 8 months on a reducing schedule, you should be fine, some people only dose every 3rd day, when coming off, it has a long half life, so hang on you should be good, louise

Hopefuly you can get the money soon girl...with the long half life i would think it be a couple of days till u felt bad...hang in there

I dont have experience with sub, but i have read where it stacks up and you should be ok for a few days.....I read where one girl went like 4 days and was fine, on a much smaller dose then u...I think u will be ok..
If it gets bad , can u borrow the money from someone just until wed...

The half life of the sub might buy you a of couple days. Also you have only been on them a month so maybe it won't be so bad.  Hang in there girl.  Hugs,  Mary

Oh hon I'm so sorry that you're out of your Sub. I don't know anything about that med so I can't answer your question but I do want to offer my support. Be strong and to be honest I don't think the w/d's are nearly what they're when you come off of narcs. Maybe you could google Sub and w/d's and see what comes up. At least that will be something for you to do until someone comes along that can answer your question with more certainty. God Bless You!

Im not sure about sub withdrawals, but I dont think it will be as bad as narcs, when I went thru withdrawals from methadone it was a feeling of blah! & Seems like it lasted forever, but when I went cold turkey from narcs it was brutal but only lasted a few days. Is their anyone you can borrow money from? Just an idea? Also Im sure someone else will be more capable of answering your question as I am unsure? Stay Strong Penelope
