day 2

Well lets see. I am on day 2 of no hydrocodone. It ***** that this all stemmed from a sledding accident, now I am not really suffering with the neck but the mental agony because I'm quitting. It's only been 2 days, but the problem is it's all I can think about! (quitting) I'm obsessing about quitting drugs. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing?

So far, the only things I have had with my withdrawals is joint pain in my arm, and intense cravings! But I didn't break. If anyone has words of encouragement, I could def use them! Thanks :)

Fellow hydro addict here...56 days clean...Just MAKE yourself stay busy..make yourself eat healthy, I drank lots of green tea..and water..take HOT baths, exercise. I had to force myself to eat and exercise..It was hard..but I knew I had to do it..I was very determined to get clean. The 1st wk is horrible, But after that it justs gets better each and every day... you will be so shocked when the fog clears...you brain starts working right again...hang in there...it is so worth it..

I am on day 11 of no lortabs. I too hand the joint pain in my arms . Lots of anxiety too. The 3rd and 4th day seemed to be the worse for me. I still have cravinfs . But I have a butt load of lortabs and have not taken any more. So maybe I am through after two years of every day use. Keep up the good work it gets better every day. John

The first weeks all I did was think about my addiction.. it seemed to consume me.. but as worried said move walk stay busy You can do this.. I forced myself out with my dogs everyday and would walk the field.. it helped so much with the physical but it helped more with the mental.. the busier I stayed the more it freed up my thoughts.. congrats on 2 days whoo hoo You are on your way.. be kind to yourself.. lesa

get busy!  read..watch some flicks..wal round the block..whatever u can think of..clean out a closet..i know u dont feel like moving right now..but u gotta move...find a meeting in ur area and try and atend daily for a bit..post often here..read the entire health pages in ur down time..lots of info there..r u using the thomas recipe?

exercise helps fatigue, depression, anxiety, rls if u have that, and insomnia....even if u have to drag urself up and down to the end of the drive way the first trip..do it...it helps get the endorphins flowing again..and u need that desperately right now...when i would exercise i felt normal and even for a while after..the surge of endorphins rocks...stay strong and keep posting
