i am quiting lortabs coldturkey, after 2  years, its only my 2nd day. I guess i just need some advise maybe! I take cymbalta will this help?

good for u!..cymbalta helps some but doesnt agree with others..left me in a gog when i took it for fibromyalgia/but my friend loves it....read the thomas recipe and get some excercise..and stay strong

Good job, the first few days are the toughest! You can buy OTC sleep meds and that will help with the night time uncomfortableness. For during the day you could try those 5 hour energy shots. They are all natural and you buy them at gas stations. I made it 8 days once and that's what I did! Good luck!!

Iwas taking about 8 a day, sometimes more. how long have you been off of them?

thank you so much! I need all the support I can get. I feel good as if I am starting over again. I just wander how much time ive lost already, when your on drugs time goes really fast. and my son is 3 years old. This is only my 2nd day, is this as it gets?if so I can probaly handle it?

Cymbalta should help with depression that comes with withdrawals a lot of the time.  I also went through Lortab withdrawals.  You can expect to feel sick like the Flu for up to 7 days.  I know it's sounds difficult, but if you go for walks, take hot baths, you'll feel a lot better.  Also, look down on the lower right hand corner of this page and you'll see the Thomas Recipe and the Amino Acid protocol.  That will help.  But, if you are already on an anti-depressant, do not take the herbs recommended for depression.

Hey there. Welcome to the forum.
Im sorry i dont really know much about Lortabs. But there are a load of people on here who have been on them.

Sometimes this site is a little slow.
Depends where in the world your from.
Stick with it your doing really well
It would help  if you let people know how much of the drug you were taking and how often?
My thoughts are with you ..
P.s. If you type Lortabs in the search box at the very top right of the page you can read many peoples experiences with lortab w/d's
