After much search and asking questions - Here's what we came up with, and with an almost instant alleviation of the cough to the point now it's gone!
My clever wife made him a silk pillow case, we put an organic mattress between his normalNormal saline flush mattress and his body and and also have some organic blankets. That's it!! It has gone.
We're also going to get a hypoallergenic pillow inner, but for now we're all getting sleep again.
When it's warm, we also open a window to get fresh air moving through the room etc...
