Addicted to zyrtec?

From 8-9 years i am allergy from heat & sun mostly when weather changes in starting my lips, eyes, chicks & hands swelling, Hives and itching i consult doctor that time he prescribed me Zyrtec but every week this happens than my doctor use an allergy kit 5 or 6 injection course of 3 to 6 month i don't remember exactly name after that swelling not comes but whole body itching for relief i use Zyrtec but from some time when i take Zyrtec my mouth dry i think side effect of Zyrtec but for relief i have no other option.

I search net & found to many people suffering from same type allergy Please suggest am i addicted to Zyrtec & is there any side effect in future to my body from this medicine or any disturbance is this comes to my baby.

Hi,
      The common side effects to use of zyrtec(cetrizine) are dry mouth, fatigue, jitteriness, vomiting, yellowish skin, dark urine etc. It is always better to inform your doctor about these side effects to limit serious adverse events in future. Also, during pregnancy and breast feeding this drug should be used only after analyzing the benefit outweighing the risks. Best.
