Allergy or not?

i have  had these red bumps, not like strep bumps that are on the top of the mouth but like fleshy redish bumps that are on the back of my throat, i'm not sure if they have always been there because i wasnt that intrested in checking my mouth commonly, but i have now,  the bumps were  a small size before, i have allergies btw, i just recently caught a cold from my mother and i checked my throat  and the bumps have gotten a bit  bigger and are inflammed, my cold is like a sinus cold  nothing like the flu, my nose and throat area are the most affected. especially my nose, and it causes me to suck  mucous out and swallow it, ive done that alot is that what could be causing the bumps on my throat? they dont hurt or anything they are just there and quite annoying to look at when i check my throat in the mirror
