Alpha 1 antitrispin

I just had an Alpha 1 (A1A) test done and my level was 131 mg/dL is this normal or should I be concerned? and what is the normal level>

Hi, welcome to the forum, The normal plasma concentration of alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) ranges from 20 to 53 µmol/L (150 to 350 mg/dL) . As your level is 131 mg/dl which is well within the normal limits. Any level below 50 mg/dl is a risk factor for complication due to alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency. As your levels are normal, you should not be worried regarding AAT levels. Take care and regards.
