Hi, welcome to the forum, yes it’s possible to have asthma without wheezing. Although a wheeze occurs primarily on exhaling, it can be heard on inhaling as well. Wheezing is a common sign of asthma. However, asthma doesn't always produce a wheeze you can hear.

Some other signs which should be noticed are chest tightness, trouble in breathing, cough, shortness of breath etc. It will get worse during exercise, play, heavy work, respiratory tract infections etc. You need to understand what is wheeze is. Normal sounds during respiration are not wheeze.

Lung function test is confirmed diagnosis for the asthma and you can undergo it for further evaluation.I suggest you to consult physician and have proper diagnosis and treatment.Take care and regards.
